Eileen Gallagher – Dublin City Marathon 2017

She did it! A huge thank you to Eileen Gallagher who ran the Dublin City Marathon in aid of the Animal Trust Fund raising a total of €1,157.00!

eileen-marathon-atf-2017

We are both proud and privileged Eileen chose to run this marathon in aid of our cause.

Eileen works with the Animal Hospital, Tallaght with whom the ATF have a wonderful long running relationship.

This is not the first time Eileen has taken on a big race in aid of ATF, in 2014 Eileen kindly supported ATF by running a half marathon ‘Run The Gauntlet’, a 13.1 mile tough race over and back the gap of Dunloe.

It’s not too late to sponsor Eileen!

Please select ‘Eileen Gallagher – Dublin City Marathon 29th Oct. 2017‘ on our donation form so we can let her know how much she raised :)

Marty the blind cat sitting on a cosy blanket with foodUPDATE ON MARTY: 13/04/17
Thanks to everyone who inquired about Marty. He recently found his forever home with two very kind people who went to great efforts to accommodate Marty and his disability and did some research on how to care for a blind cat. He is doing great and very happy and is one very lucky cat.
A huge thanks to Patrick and Caron for opening up your home and hearts for Marty!

UPDATE ON JOEY: After 7 months of foster care by an ATF volunteer sadly a good home could not be found for Joey.  So with the help of a charity in Cork he found a family in Sweden. Before leaving he was neutered, vaccinated and got his passport.
We hope he’ll have a happy, long life there.

Donate to Feral Cat Awareness

Our aim is to raise awareness about the plight of stray, homeless, abandoned and feral cats in Ireland and promote trap, neuter & return (TNR) as a humane effective solution.

We volunteer our time and petrol money to help feral cats. We ask for a donation of €55 for a male and €65 for a female which is less than half the normal veterinary rate for neutering/spaying. Every donation helps us help more stray/feral cats and kittens. Please donate what you can here.

Donate to The Animal Trust Fund

Help The Animal Trust Fund by making a donation today. ATF relies on generous donations from the public. Our funding comes from monthly supporters and donations. We are not a government agency so your donation is very gratefully received.  Your donation will help us Save Lives and put a stop to Animal Cruelty in Ireland.
